Schedule for the 2026-2027 Full Dance Season
First week of dance is September 8/9 and runs until our year end concert on Sat, May 1, 2027. Some groups will perform at UFest in Borden Park on May 28/29.
*We will be having classes during November break and PD days.
If you’re a returning family, please check out our new ages.
Please know there is some flexibility to change groups by the end of September, once the instructors meet the students to ensure your athlete is in the best spot.

**You'll notice some overlap - age is just a guideline, we take experience and development into consideration to make the most cohesive classes. Kvitky is for our brand new dancers (or if Tuesday at 5 works better for your family than Wednesday at 5). But our Artistic Director will make sure everyone is in the best spots by the end of September.
Schedule for the 2027 Winter Semester Dance Season
Starting December 1, 2026 you can register your child for the second semester. This is a great way to try Ukrainian dance, especially if you have a fall sport athlete with a full schedule. Registration closes Feb 12 and classes begin January 19-20. They can join a class (provided there’s room) and dance for 13 weeks from Jan-May and dance in the year end concert and, depending on the group, UFest.

The names of our groups are all Ukrainian nature words.
Tuition and Payment Options
Tuition The cost of each class is based on the number of hours of instruction and number of instructors from September to May (January to May for the Winter Semester).
Costs of competition fees are included. Parental input will be asked for festival and competition availability. Families will pay for their own travel when necessary.
We will elect a fundraising committee to run fundraisers that offset the costs of costumes, performances, travel, cultural enrichment and so on (bottle drive, Easter chocolates, Perogies/Sausage from the hall, 50/50, casino, clothing sales)
Please make all payments in a timely matter. There is a 2.00% fee on credit card payments. Thanks for understanding. You may pay by E-transfers or cheque to avoid this fee.
Apply for Kidsport or Jumpstart separately for assistance with registration fees.
If paying by e-transfer or cheque, pay the entire amount at registration or split it into two payments
- 50% at time of registration (or first dance class)
- the other 50% on January 1 (or first dance class after Christmas break)
If paying by credit card, the registration system allows paying in full or splitting into 5 or 6 payments:
- at time of registration and then
- the first day of the month from September (early bird) or October, November, December, January, and sometimes February
If paying by credit card for winter only, the registration system allows paying in full or splitting into 3 payments:
- at time of registration and then
- the fifteenth (15) day of the month in February and March
Refund Policy: Please note that a society membership registration fee of $25.00 is included in tuition and non-refundable. If a student leaves St. Basil's Ukrainian Dance before the year is over, the remaining tuition will be prorated and refunded accordingly once costumes have been returned.
