Etiquette and Responsibility

Dancer Etiquette and Parental Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of every dancer to:

  • arrive on time and in proper rehearsal attire

  • have a positive, hard working attitude

  • respect other dancers, instructors and the rules of the classroom. While socializing is a fun part of Ukrainian Dancing and necessary part of life, it should be kept to a minimum (water break times) inside the classroom

It is the responsibility of every parent to:

  • ensure his or her child/children do not play in the foyers of the Cultural Centre and refrain from using the elevator or running up and down stairs. Other parish groups use the hall and we must be respectful of this.

  • not disturb or interrupt the classes. This is a distraction and takes away of the valuable instruction time. If there is an issue you would like to discuss, please email the team ahead of time to arrange a meeting.

  • remain outside the classroom unless it is a designated parent watch day or if special arrangements have been made with the instructor.
